• A description of the fault or the service required, which may include photographs you choose to send us.
• Records of work carried out, parts used and the price agreed, which form the service history of the vehicle.

Why we use it, and the basis for doing so

• To respond to your enquiry — on the basis of your request.
• To carry out and record the work you have asked for — to perform our agreement with you.
• To keep financial and tax records — to meet our legal obligations.
• To contact you about a vehicle we are working on, or a service that is due — on the basis of our legitimate interest in looking after the vehicles we maintain for you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. It may be shared with parts suppliers and, where relevant, specialist subcontractors so that a part can be supplied or a job completed; in those cases only the information needed for that job is passed on. It may also be shared with our accountants and, where the law requires it, with a public authority.

How long we keep it

Service and repair records are kept for as long as they are useful as the vehicle’s history and for the period the law requires us to keep financial records. Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
